Holiday at last -Europe part 1-
My Europe trip has been a challenge even before it started
Long leave negotiation process (thanks to Heri!!), nerves breaking visa procedure and server breakdown exactly when I need it (Ryanair and Virginair).
But all paid off. Greatest 2 weeks holiday so far, expect lot more to come ;-). Changes plan here and there due to impulsivity and reality haha
Start with bad traffic on the way to the airport made me check in just about time when KLM about to close their counter huiih, bump into old friend on the same flight to Amsterdam – nice surprise-
Arrived in Amsterdam Sunday morning and go directly to Utrecht (thanks Nicky for showed up at 5 AM), but there’s a little arrangement changes, me & windy suppose to go with Nicky to his parents place in Groningen and stays there till Monday, and due to that Nicky cancelled our meal arrangement that Ambon has prepared aaggggghhh, why argghhh?? coz I decided to stay in Utrecht (ambon’s) and explore it, considered that I never been in Europe.
there I was in Utrecht without any food in the house, store was closed coz it’s Sunday even Mc Donalds not open before 11 am….hiks..hiks
Sometimes it’s amazing what friend can do for you, I have Djali came over, cooked for me and thanks God his cooking skills is flawless hahaha
Djali, you are my savior!!!
Plus he accompanied me explore The Haque. After meeting some of his friends in the ministry thingy and got the change to explore the whole complex (awesome !!) we went to Parliament house, peace palace, langue straat , Madurodam – The Netherlands miniature- (I spent hours there!!), and a quite nice beach called scheveningen.

meet Djali aka my savior
Amsterdam was next, after hanging around in harlem –damn the weather keep changing drastically-. Met up with Niki –soooo happy to see you again- have all Dutch experience together with her and Lee A hahahaa...

Spent one day in Brugge, a nice little medieval town, love it.
Got the chance to watch Ascension Day parade –lovely- , involved in small accident with the Belgium royal family –for ambon it wasn’t a small one haha-

Brussels in a hurry with a shitty weather as well, it was raining like hell, freezing in a bus on the way to koln, and the highlight of the day was stranded for 3 hours in koln airport due to flight delayed.exactly what I need after running for my life to the airport and the check in gate.
But Vienna was another story, Love every minutes of it from sheltered from the rain, rode A1 and A2 trams for million times –okay I’m exaggerating- , chatted along with my new Japanese friend, explore Stephandoms area with its nice boutique and small alley, catching up stories with old friend accompany by nice weather and glass of wine, girls talk or should I say whisper on the living room coz we didn’t want to wake the baby.
I lost my heart to the city, there’s something about Vienna that captured my heart badly, I didn’t know what it was but one thing for sure I’ll definitely be back there.
