Guilin trip

Thanks to public holiday in HK which fell on Monday so i got the chance to take a short break to Guilin - China. It was all began from one of my friends crazy plan...to have a holiday within the budget which i'm straight away vote for...(having a holiday outside HK which didn't left a hole on my pocket ..it was something that i long for =p)after quite a while ...we have our confirmation and it turn out the package was so darn cheap..2 days trip to Guilin for 260 RMB equal to 256 hkd. Only major drawback was 10 hours bus ride.
so on Friday ..straight from the Office we went to guilin from shenzhen, totally forgot have to dealt with custom which took us about 30 minutes....Meicy frantically called the agent to inform him our situation and fortunately he's willing to wait a little longer.
but being late to a scheduled tour by bus mean that we got the worst seat ever...have to settled ourself in the last row of the bus...and the thought of 10 hours bus ride without being able adjusted the seat kinna put me off =p, but it all went fine..arrived in Yangshuo in the morning with a backache and craved for some real sleep (did i mentioned that the ride was very bouncy and bumpy ...i hope that was the correct word =p)
but the Hotel was nice (surprise..surprise it was 3 star hotel, very close to west street which is the busiest and the most interesting street in Yangshuo), breakfast was OK...it was so freaking cheap , only cost u 2 RMB for a bowl of noodle (compare to 15hkd for the same stuff in HK....that was a steal)went for cycling ..explore the city...it soooo good to escape the hustle and frantic pace in HK, been entertained by gorgeous landscape, smiling face everywhere u go (definitely something for a change). but the Highlite of all was the Bamboo boat cruise along the Yeu Long river...the sky so blue, the water so calm ..so picturesque plus we have a value added service from our boat skipper..he sang a traditional chinese song...felt like i'm travel back in time.
Guilin and Yangshuo fascinated me a lot, impressed by their beautifull landscape, the crazy at ease feeling by just sat on one of the coffee shop watching people passes by, smiling faces and handsome backpackers willing to lend u a hand (hahahhaha.....). Despite 3 Hours long bike ride...it was awesome (they told me the cycling was a "leisure bike along the river"....geez someone please give me the definition of leisure...i had numb butt after the ride :)) ).
