soccer & Life

last night was the UEFA championship league final,
sadly to say that my favorite team experiencing lack of luck ..but actually lots of insight could be drawn from that match.
it ain't over 'till it over baby, probably that kinna mentality was on the liverpool team last night, truly impressed by their fighting spirit and not to forgot to mention Gerrard calmness (well, Maldini also cool plus handsome hahahha but still i gave gerrard two thumbs up!!).
it taught me to never give up, and keep trying coz u never know when & how opportunity will present itself.

well, thanks to 2X extra time plus the penalty drama, the match was over at 6am,and i need to be at the office at 9am, totally lack of sleep i had my share of headache especially when two of my manager required me to join them on project discussion...thanks God i got thru it just fine.

rite after the meeting received a call from my BF, he told me that he has been selected for DHL internship in Brussell, belgium. I was Speechless, i kept on saying oh my god..oh my god..congratulation.

i'm happy for him but the ironic is i'm on my last month in HK and will be goin' back to jakarta and start a career there, at the same time my BF will venture his journey to brussel, belgium from jakarta.
i guess we r so familiar and can get enough of long distance relationship.

once again CONGRATULATION FEIDY.

?????

need my quiet moment today
one of those day when u feel so vulnerable
suddenly everything seems so complicated
when u reached ur crossroad and no way to make a detour
questioning things that i've accomplished and failed also
am i walking on the rite path?
am i making the rite decision?
is it worthy?
i don't need the answer rite away
just want to let it out...that's all

Guilin trip

Guilin tripGuilin trip

Thanks to public holiday in HK which fell on Monday so i got the chance to take a short break to Guilin - China. It was all began from one of my friends crazy plan...to have a holiday within the budget which i'm straight away vote for...(having a holiday outside HK which didn't left a hole on my pocket ..it was something that i long for =p)after quite a while ...we have our confirmation and it turn out the package was so darn cheap..2 days trip to Guilin for 260 RMB equal to 256 hkd. Only major drawback was 10 hours bus ride.

so on Friday ..straight from the Office we went to guilin from shenzhen, totally forgot have to dealt with custom which took us about 30 minutes....Meicy frantically called the agent to inform him our situation and fortunately he's willing to wait a little longer.
but being late to a scheduled tour by bus mean that we got the worst seat ever...have to settled ourself in the last row of the bus...and the thought of 10 hours bus ride without being able adjusted the seat kinna put me off =p, but it all went fine..arrived in Yangshuo in the morning with a backache and craved for some real sleep (did i mentioned that the ride was very bouncy and bumpy ...i hope that was the correct word =p)

but the Hotel was nice (surprise..surprise it was 3 star hotel, very close to west street which is the busiest and the most interesting street in Yangshuo), breakfast was OK...it was so freaking cheap , only cost u 2 RMB for a bowl of noodle (compare to 15hkd for the same stuff in HK....that was a steal)went for cycling ..explore the city...it soooo good to escape the hustle and frantic pace in HK, been entertained by gorgeous landscape, smiling face everywhere u go (definitely something for a change). but the Highlite of all was the Bamboo boat cruise along the Yeu Long river...the sky so blue, the water so calm ..so picturesque plus we have a value added service from our boat skipper..he sang a traditional chinese song...felt like i'm travel back in time.

Guilin and Yangshuo fascinated me a lot, impressed by their beautifull landscape, the crazy at ease feeling by just sat on one of the coffee shop watching people passes by, smiling faces and handsome backpackers willing to lend u a hand (hahahhaha.....). Despite 3 Hours long bike ride...it was awesome (they told me the cycling was a "leisure bike along the river"....geez someone please give me the definition of leisure...i had numb butt after the ride :)) ).

series of unfortunate event

don't mean to copycat a movie title....but that just describe my story perfectly.
event no.1
okay, as always kraft trainees eat our lunch together, so that's means me with Happy and cerille, they r both philippina and i'm learning couple of tagalog words from them. it started as a regular day to this particular day, we had our lunch followed by casual chat and tout a coupe..rite in front of me a cuteeeee guy passing by. and me ..being me..mumbling "gwa po" (which mean handsome in tagalog), my friends took the cue and glanced as well..yap definitely awesome creature =p.
but wait...where's the unfortunate thing??...well, apparently this guy came with a girl and the girl is philipina!!!!!....completely flushed..especially since the girl didn't waste her time to translate what i've just said to him...there we were...laughing out loud at my expense. geez..don't bother to asked how i felt that day or my expression. am completely humiliated, red all over and laughing 'till i feel crying =p.

event no.2
live in HK also mean sooner or later u started a sense of connection with ur elevator (since most of HK people lived in skyscrapper due to scarcity of land).
well...i do have a connection with mine...and those connection stronger by the day especially today.
both of my elevator broken down and since i'm in 14th floor..u know what that's mean.
going down not an issue, a bit tiring and requiring more time than usual but that was ok.
it's totally different story when climbing up...going home from the office around 8 PM and found that my elevator has not fixed yet...arrrggggggghhhh, go to friend's place for dinner in a hope when i get home everything would be...okay =p, but apparently it's NOT.
so around 10.30PM tonight, i did some exercise, let me re-phrased it .. forced to exercise..climbing 14th floor non stop while other occupant only have to climb 5 floor even 3..it's unfair...sniff..sniff
freaking tired ..need my protein, carbohydrate, or whatever !!!

Ending is the beginning

received an email from friend whose currently having his traineeship in Rumania,
approaching his last month there, he roused a question which triggered me wrote this

" how to prepare one self coming home after the traineeship?"

some of my friend put their 2 cent worth, here they are:
mia wrote:
"can only think of one important advice... don't rush to eat in all your favourite warungs - your stomach might disagree. Take it easy, eat at home for a few days before eating in Kebon Kacang, Sate Djono etc"

cer wrote this :
"Well.. As for me, I guess don't be surprised that your friends are not all that dying to see you. I mean, yes, they'd get out of their way, only if it's not THAT much out of their way (Hehe!) but you have to go home prepared to accept that things HAVE happened WITHOUT you and that's just a fact we have to live with"

what's urs ?

another party at Duncan's Fun Flat

another party at Duncan's Fun Flat

u don't need any reason at all to throw a party especially when it's held on Duncan's Fun Flat, located in up the hill of the Ming Yuen Sai Gai (Ming Yuen West Street).
missing Saki ..coz she usually there since it's her place as well...but all the excitement still alive as long as u have enough breath to climb up the infamous hill =p
